Brewers Journal, Fermentation Radio and Original Gravity sign up for NCBW19
Nottingham Craft Beer Week returns to the city between 8-15 June 2019 and we’re pleased to announce details our first three major events, involving the cream of the UK's beer media...
The Brewers Journal, the professional magazine for the UK beer industry, will be bringing their Brewers Lectures Series to The Canalhouse. This is a series of half day lectures, which give a platform to six speakers to inspire change, generate discussion and share brewing expertise. The events take place five times a year across the UK and Ireland and this will be the first time they have held this event in Nottingham. They're booked in for Wednesday 12 June.
Original Gravity beer magazine are bringing their live show to The Herbert Kilpin during the week. Editor-at-Large Pete Brown, along with Publisher Daniel Neilson and Editor (and 2017 Beer Writer of the Year) Adrian Tierney-Jones will bring the mag to life over an hour and a half of beer tastings, readings and a guided tasting of beer styles on Tuesday 11 June. The magazine has also teamed up with Nottingham’s LeftLion magazine to increase its distribution across the city throughout the year.
Finally Emma Inch, the host of Fermentation Beer and Brewing Radio, will be doing a taste and talk on at the Crafty Crow. Emma was named Beer Writer of the Year at the 2018 Guild of Beer Writers Award and hosts a monthly podcast where she interviews brewers and looks at beer trends. Thursday 13 June will be her first appearance at Nottingham Craft Beer Week, but she’s no stranger to such events having founded Brighton and Hove Beer Week.
Tickets for these events will be released soon. Follow our pages on Facebook and Twitter to be first to know when they do.
